Hot off the press is the news that another group of dynamic champagne makers has just been formed and it's called 'Terroirs et Talents de Champagne'.

Even better news is that they have announced that they'll be holding a tasting on 15th April from 10.00 to 19.00 at the restaurant Le Theatre in Epernay

There are 11 members in the association so far and they hail from all across the Champagne region

 Aspasie,  Maxime Blin and  Penet Chardonnet from La Montagne de Reims

de Sousa, André Jacquart and Vazart Coquart from La Côte des Blancs

 Janisson Baradon, Michel Loriot and  Sélèque from La Vallée de La Marne

 Jacques Copinet from Le Sézannais

and last but not least, Coessens from further south in La Côte des Bar

For the champagne lover this means that there are now 3 fabulous champagne tastings all in the space of a few days and each one featuring some of the leading lights amongst the, as yet, lesser-known, but up-and-coming champagne makers

15th   'Terroirs et Talents de Champagne'.

16th 'Terres et Vins de Champagne'  Tasting normally held at the Hotel Castel Jeanson in Ay

17th 'L'Association des Artisans du Champagne' at La Régate de Reims ( Reims Rowing Club)

It will be a treat for your senses, plus you'll get to meet some wonderful people so put the dates in your diary NOW
